Teams of church members on fire for pro-life issues, who commit themselves to creating awareness and building the Culture of Life in their church community.
Respect Life Sunday
Our 2023 and 2024 Respect Life Sunday brochures focused on the topics of Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD), the pending changes in Canada that would allow for MAiD on the basis of mental health, and the truth about Palliative Care.
These topics are deeply concerning, as we believe that people suffering with mental health and physical challenges alike should be offered suicide prevention over suicide assistance. While the has Canadian government delayed the changes for another 3 years, they are not concerned by the ethics of including mental health as a justification for assisted suicide but rather the logistics of implementation given the anticipated influx of MAiD requests.
Learn more about these issue on our Euthanasia in Canada page.
You can also attend a Life Talks Seminar to learn more about MAiD and how to talk about it with others. For a full listing of Seminars and other pro-life activities visit our Calendar.
